Happy
New Year Friends,
The New Year has arrived on fog enshrouded feet here in the Russian River Valley. The gnarled vines wait quietly to begin anew. And a new beginning is at hand for us, too–another chance to try to make our world a better place. Looking back at last year O’Connell Vineyards donated to many local and national causes-
We opened up the doors of Vine Hill House, our estate event facility, to local non-profits such as Sonoma County Farm Trails, the Laguna Foundation of Sonoma County and others for their annual garden and fund raising events, gave weekend stays as auction items to local and national schools and non-profits such as Sonoma Country Day School, Glencoe School District in Illinois, Children’s Cancer Community, the Children’s Hospital of Laguna Hills, and KRCB public television, plus numerous wine donations to youth groups, schools, non-profits, and other fund raising organizations both locally and nationally.
This year we are anticipating an even greater need in our community and around the country. We expect to continue to do our small part.
Will you join us in coming out to support your local community? By deciding to start assisting a local cause you admire, you can make a real difference. Make your New Year’s Resolution to help make 2010 a much better place for all of us to live in!
And the perfect way to begin your resolutions is with a bottle of our classic 2007 Estate Pinot Noir. You will love its deeply intense aroma of ripe cherries, it’s great mouth feel, the warm spice tones and flavor of ripe raspberries. An unbelievably smooth finish. You’ll definitely enjoy it. And you’ll be starting the year out with style and great taste, and a great price!
Our New Year Special is here! Start stocking up for the year ahead! Enjoy our estate pinot now with a 12% discount (when you purchase
2 - 5 bottles) through January 31st. Drink one today, drink one tomorrow and cellar the remainder for another day.
